1. Services
Coaching is available on a 1:1 or group basis in a range of packages to suit requirements.
Training is provided in individual workshops, a combination of workshops or a full day of all workshops. Workshops available: Menopause at Work, Menopause and Food, Menopause and Psychology, Menopause and Mindfulness and Menopause and Health.
Events are designed by Kirsten Marriott of Opportunity Coaching and bespoke to the needs of the clients.
2a. Responsibilities - Coaching:
In the absence of a regulatory body for Coaching in the UK, the Coach understands, respects and agrees to abide by the Global Code of Ethics and standards of behaviour set out by the Association for Coaching.
Client is responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotion well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. Client understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
Client understands that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, Coach will recommend that Client inform the mental health care provider and the client may need to have a referral letter from their health care provider.
Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
2b. Responsibilities - Training:
The Trainer, Kirsten Marriott, a Licensed Menopause Experts Champion, certified by Menopause Experts Group https://menopauseexperts.com is qualified to provide specific workshops and award the Menopause Experts Approved logo to organisations along with CPD accredited certificates to attendees.
The Client understands that training and workshops is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters.
3. Schedule and Fees
Opportunity Coaching and the Client will agree a programme of work on approval of quotation. The time and location of the coaching programme, event or training will be determined by Coach and Client at a mutually agreed time and location. If a virtual session is booked, the Coach will schedule all calls using Office Teams. If using a laptop or desktop, the link can be followed through the browser. If using a phone or tablet, the Client is required to download the app prior to the session.
Opportunity Coaching will quote for coaching, events or training workshops using a set programme rate before sessions commence. On acceptance of the quotation, Opportunity Coaching will require part pre-payment before work commences, or part-payment at an agreed milestone. If Client requirements change after the coaching or training has begun, Opportunity Coaching will advise of any increased costs in services and discuss with the Client how best to proceed.
Balance invoices will be raised on project completion and must be paid within 30 days. Invoice queries must be raised within 5 working days. Late payments may incur additional charges. Opportunity Coaching reserve the right to suspend work on programmes of coaching, events or training if Client accounts are overdue.
4. Confidentiality
This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Client shares
with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound to confidentiality as defined by the Global Code of Ethics, but is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like in Medicine or Law). The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Client without the Client’s written consent. The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name/data as a reference without the Client’s consent (in accordance with the Privacy Policy at Opportunity Coaching). Confidential information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Client; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Client’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Client; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Client’s confidential information; or (e) that the Coach is required by law to disclose.
5. Cancellation and Lateness Policy
Client agrees that it is the Client’s responsibility to notify Kirsten of Opportunity Coaching at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled call, meeting, event or training session if the client cannot make the session. Client will be billed for a missed session if the client does not turn up or reschedule. Coach will wait for 15 minutes, before the Client is noted as not turning up for the session.
6. Termination
Either the Client or the Coach may terminate this agreement at any time with 2 weeks written notice.
7. Limited Liability
Except as expressly provided in this agreement, Opportunity Coaching makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied. In no event will Opportunity Coaching be liable to the Client for consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, Opportunity Coaching’s entire liability under this agreement, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, will be limited to the amount paid by the Client to Opportunity Coaching under this agreement for all services rendered up until the termination date.
This is the entire agreement of the parties, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.
8. Acceptance of Terms
The Client agrees to pay for agreed services rendered by Opportunity Coaching. By agreeing to a quotation, the Client agrees to the Terms of Service.
